On March 25, 2025, KMC Women’s College of Paramedicals proudly inaugurated its new advanced laboratory wing, designed to strengthen practical training in fields like radiology, pathology, and emergency care.
The new facility includes modern diagnostic equipment, simulation dummies for emergency response training, and a digital pathology system. These upgrades will enhance hands-on learning and ensure students meet global healthcare standards.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior faculty, students, and healthcare professionals. The chief guest, Dr. R. K. Meenakshi, Head of Diagnostics at Global Health Hospital, Chennai, emphasized the importance of real-world lab exposure for budding paramedical professionals. “Your training here will directly influence lives — use it wisely and passionately,” she said.
The initiative is part of the college’s continuous effort to match international benchmarks in paramedical education and ensure students graduate with job-ready skills. Faculty members expressed that these labs would not only help in student development but also support research and minor diagnostic services for the community.
KMC continues to invest in education infrastructure, aiming to make the campus a hub for paramedical excellence in Tamil Nadu and beyond
